Deepest Condolences to Dave's family and Carlisle RFC at this sad time.
It is with much regret that we hear of the passing of a true rugby gentleman, Dave Rawling.
Dave played for Penrith, Captain in 1969-70 before moving onto Carlisle RFC.
He played at Carlisle, became a Committee member and achieved the post of President.
Dave, who had been unwell for a while, yesterday passed to the Great Rugby Pitch in the Sky.
Deepest Condolences to Dave's family and Carlisle RFC from all at Penrith RUFC.
He will be sadly missed. RIP Dave
The funeral is at Dalston Parish Church at 1.00 pm on Friday 17th June and at Carlisle Crematorium at 2.20pm.
Followed by a Celebration of David's life at Carlisle RFC.
