The funeral is at St. Andrews Church, Penrith (CA11 7XX) on Thursday, 25th January at 11.30am, followed by a Celebration of Enid's life @ the 'North Lakes Hotel'. (CA11 8QT).
The Committal, to which all are also welcome is at Carlisle Crematorium (CA2 6AR) on Friday, 26th January @ 11.00am. Flowers are welcome and donations if desired, for Oxfam, Penrith may be sent C/O Richardsons Funeral Directors, Victoria Rd, Penrith, CA11 8HR

Message from the Chappelhow family
Enid Chappelhow, widow of former Club President Ted, has died suddenly aged 81 years.
From the early days of supporting Ted on the pitch at the Club’s former home on Foundry Field, to supporting him throughout his many years’ service in administrative roles at Winters Park, Enid was always on hand to help.

From preparing Committee meeting minutes to match teas, whatever support was needed, Enid was always on hand; if not in person at the Club, she continually worked for the benefit of the club behind the scenes.

But more than that, Enid was a great friend to so many people at Penrith Rugby Club. Always welcoming, always smiling and always full of conversation and opinion.

Enid would light up the dance floor in the days of Jazz nights at the Club and was certainly a woman who enjoyed a good party, with a glass of red and a great sense of humour!

Enid leaves so many good people who have been such great friends to her at the Club, creating so many happy memories, for so many years.

Brian, Barbara and Rob would like to thank PRUFC and the men and women whom make it great, for everything they have done for Enid.
