It was a real team effort with all 13 contributing - infact their were 12 different try scorers !
The matches were 15 mins all action across half full pitch - 10 a side. Panthers had 12 to start after some late drop outs and Charlotte rushed through after work to make 13.

The first match was against League champions Houghton who they had lost to twice this season, they were ready to give it their best effort and certainly did as both teams battled it out in a high quality match, Penrith were 0-10 down before coming back to 15-15 before going behind again and with the time running out a loose ball was pounced on by Evie to power over from 5m to level the scores which was a fair reflection of the match.
The next match against a combined DMP/WBR squad they moved the ball well some great handling to win 40-5, with the team try of the game finished by Sofia and Caitlin scoring 3 tries.
All was looking like a shoot out v Houghton on points difference but now into the 2nd Season of the Halbro NE & Cumbria League their has been a general improvement across the region and all the teams played some excellent rugby, TyneVos played very well especially their centre who made the Panthers pay for some below par tackling and a 15-10 win.
The girls came back on song with a comfortable Cumbrian Derby win over Kirby Lonsdale 25-0 - moving the ball wide well they found space for the backs especially Eimhear (2) one thanks to Charlottes' unselfishness and Becca to score well out wide after a powerful drive through several tacklers by Penny had opened the scoring.
The final match against Morthern (Morpeth/Northern combined) was for runners up in the 10s and despite falling behind tries by the hardworking Izzy (2) Jasmine and Penny moved them 20-10 ahead before a late try by Morthern.
With not many forwards available Abi and Aisla stepped forward as props dong a superb job.
