Penrith travelled in high spirits, having put some extra training in over half term, specifically to address areas of weakness highlighted in the last Carlisle match.
Warm up was good and then disaster struck!
Confronted with the opposition very much in their faces from the set piece Penrith could not find a way to adapt to give themselves the space they needed to play their game. Frustration led to lack of focus, which led to tries, which led to panic.
Which led to defeat 3 tries to 2. Again it was Mr Larkins who kept us in the frame with some super aggressive running to deliver 2 tries, one converted by Lewis.
Back to the drawing board everybody...
