A great afternoon of rugby as many of the girls played their 1st game of rugby and all the players improved throughout the matches.
They were unbeaten against Kirkby Lonsdale/Cockermouth, Kendal, Netherall and Keswick.
The scores I mention as last year we lost more than we won so progress!
All the coaches, referees worked well together to create fun and competitive environment.

The new girls playing their first game of rugby mixed in well helped by the more experienced girls (experience means they have played 4 games in their rugby career!) and early nerves were replaced by "don't take me off" by the last game.
Big improvement in tackling and defence and some fantastic individual runners.
Lots to work on at training Fri nights 4.30-6pm at the club.
