The Girls enjoyed a win at Tynedale earlier in the year but the Hexham team have strengthened with some strong runners to take the win 35-65 in an enjoyable match at Frenchfield.

Try scorers for Penrith were Lissee Hodgson (2) Paige Wilson (2) Lara Jones, Summer Cleminson and Lily Bland.
Penrith started slowly going 2 tries down then started to warm up with Lara Jones scoring followed by Lissee Hodgson pace giving her 2 tries. Tynedale scored again to make it 3-3 at the break with great efforts by Emily and Lydia Cross.
Second period Penrith were on the back foot with Tynedale breaking down the wing to score a couple of tries. Penrith made a couple of substitutions and there were some good runs by Chloe Whitton, Paige Wilson and Chelsea Keeley then Tynedale came back strong after making some substitutions and scored several tries.
There were a few good try stopping tackles by Erin Birlett on her first match. So it was 10-3 by the end of the second period.
Penrith started the last period very well with great runs by Leoni Douglas, Millie Anderson and Eleanor Brook which led to Paige scoring 2 tries, followed by Summer Cleminson and Lily Bland which made it 7-10. Then Tynedale scored 3 tries right at then end to make it 7 tries to 13.
