The girls enjoyed a good morning of rugby at Keswick. Playing 4 x 10 mins matches 12 a side. With several players unavailable for various reasons and Keswick having a large squad 3 girls on rotation joined the team to give more girls more rugby!
The girls continue to improve the more they train and play, both individually and as a team. Still lots to work on as they continue to understand the tackle area and what happens next and develop their tackling skills.
The final score of 14-9 against the more experienced Keswick squad was reward for their effort and commitment.
Bianca led the way with 3 tries from some powerful running. Lissee was everywhere making some great runs, scoring one try and setting up one with a great off load pass out of the tackle. The strong running Lily Bland picked up one try and made several strong tackles.
It was great to see Leoni score her 1st ever try and Summer deservedly drove over for the last try.
Chelsea another new player continues to improve in all areas and worked hard to be in support, carry the ball forward and tackle.
Tallulahs' pace made her a threat to the home team and brought her one try.
Eleanor struggled with the cold but kept going and got more involved as the game wore on.
Chloe enjoyed her captaincy role and linked play well.
