And a good result for Penrith, although full credit to Kirkby who arrived with a depleted squad and then suffered a number of injuries on the day.
Penrith banged over 7 tries to 2 but gave away 11+ penalties in the process (we lost count!), which let Kirkby off the hook a bit.
Forwards put in a good display in the set piece but their rucking performance intermittant and for some reason the team's ball handling skills deserted them, with plenty of chances missed with a butchered last pass or catch.
