Penrith U13's travelled to West Hartlepool and found themselves 7:0 down within 23 seconds & 14:0 down within 3 minutes. Once they worked out how to restrict the ball to the quickest player on the pitch, i.e. the opposition 13, the lads started to be competitive. Some great work by Brodie Glendinning, who had his best game in a Penrith shirt, pulled us back to lead the first half 21:19. The second half continued with a great effort to stop the ball getting outside the West Hartlepool flyhalf. The persistence of the pack and half backs to nullify the threat, meant that West didn't score again at all in the second half. Penrith managed to secure the win through their doggedness and determination. Try Scorers were Brodie Glendinning (4), Louie Johnson (1) & Bryn (1). Great effort by the whole team who came back from 14:0 down to secure a good win.
