Fair result!

On a cold day at Kirkby both teams decided to put on a cracking display of rugby. Kirkby had more power and weight in the forwards and Penrith speed in the backs, with Zak finishing off three wide passing moves with wicked pace and tries.

It was a gusty performance all round however, with the Penrith forwards starting to apply some effective technique in the scrum (even won a couple) and our rucking is improving match by match. Harry, Luke and Felix put themselves around the park in stirling fashion making tackle after tackle, with Luke making one thunderous appearance at a ruck moving it a metre forward! And Max, Lewis and Jacob did a great job in the backs to get the ball wide, where Thomas and Zak caused several problems.

All in all a great team performance and a happy Gary!
