16. Adam Howe (Player)

MEET A MEMBER MONDAY

Every Monday we post a club member profile, they may be a player, coach, team manager or committee member, to make it easier to put names to faces when you're at the club!

This week we have Howserrrrrrrr... a face many know and love at the club!

Name: Adam Howe

Positions: Tighthead Prop, Vice Captain of 1st XV and players’ representative.

How many years at Penrith RUFC: 15 years since Adam started at Penrith at 6 years old.

What does he love most about Penrith RUFC: “Playing rugby with my mates. Seeing the club do well right the way through from mini rugby to the 1st XV team.”

What does he want to see Penrith RUFC achieve in the next season of rugby: “I would like to see us finish top 4 this season and push for promotion next year. Very excited to have Macca (Jamie McNaughton) back from his injury next season and I’m sure he will be key to our success.”

As players’ rep, Adam attends the board of directors’ meetings and acts as a go between for the board and players. He raises issues brought to him by players and delivers messages from the board. Adam is also a key member of the fundraising committee and works hard to help organise and execute the fundraising events for the club throughout the year. On top of all this, Adam is a much respected member of the 1st XV team and liked by many!
