27. Nikki Neillings (Sports Therapist)

MEET A MEMBER MONDAY

Although we may not all be in the clubhouse together any time soon... we're still bringing you another Meet a Member Monday profile to help keep our close community feel and celebrate some of our wonderful members.

This week we have 1st XV Team Sports Therapist, Nikki.

Name: Nicole 'Nikki' Neillings

Position: 1st XV Team Sports Therapist

How many years at Penrith RUFC: Nikki initially offered first aid during 1st XV team matches in 2017 but since January 2020 she has taken over from Rick Forrest and now attends every 1st XV game.

What does she loves most about Penrith RUFC: "The 'friendly banter' between Dave Preston and the spectators at some of the away matches!"

What does she want to see Penrith RUFC achieve in the next season of rugby: "I would love to concentrate on making Penrith a flagship club for the welfare of players, including all youth, female and seniors members. I am working with the club to upgrade the physical therapy area in the gym."

Favourite moment from the past season: "I was proud to be able to help with two injured players at Winters Park" and "the race night was loads of fun, it even had my 15-year-old smiling!!! A rare treat ?"

On behalf of everyone at the club, we'd just like to take this opportunity to thank Nikki for her efforts over the past few months. She is there come rain or shine supporting our 1st XV team and assisting our players. We look forward to seeing you back at the club whenever we can!
