We look forward to the next tranche of players ,from all levels and all genders who will follow in their success.

In most sports players want to aspire to be the best and Rugby Union is no different at every level.
However there are not many Clubs that can claim five members who have achieved that goal in one season. We at Penrith RUFC are lucky in that we have some men and girls who have managed to attain the peak of their representative career this year.

Both Louie Johnson and Luke Coulston have represented England in the 6 Nations Championship at Under 20 and Under 18 level respectively whilst Emma Campbell represented Scotland Under 18’s.

Louie and Luke are both members of Newcastle Falcons Senior Academy whilst Emma is currently continuing her education at Bishop Burton college in Yorkshire.
Not to be outdone, two of our First team squad, Jamie McNaughton and Dan Richardson, represented the English Fire Service in Internationals against other National Public Service teams.

It is a tremendous achievement for these players and one that the Club is justifiably proud of- It is a testament to their effort, determination and commitment. Penrith Rugby Club has a proud history of being the pathway for players who have gone on to International honours and we look forward to the next tranche of players ,from all levels and all genders who will follow in their success.
