On Friday evening the Penrith Panthers welcomed the Workington Finches to Winters Park to take part in their monthly social night. Part of the social was a 10 aside touch game. The Panthers had 22 available so split into two teams to take on the Finches in a round robin. The teams were evenly matched with only the one try being scored in the whole game by the Finches. The Finches were the more experienced side and Penrith matched them superbly, showing great handling skills and a solid defence. The Panthers have only been training for 10 months and each week they are improving as a team. The squad is continuing to grow in numbers, with more players welcome.
